I offered to help Kat out tonight, but when i sat down to write I really just couldn't come up with anything. From what I've heard this is been a rather blah week for many people so far, including me. Not complaining, just being honest.
This is kinda random, but have you ever just rested in the presence of your Lord? Most days I have plenty to talk to God about, but lately Ive just wanted Him to hold me.... just soaking up his presence.... Just loving on my Lord....
There is nothing in this world like it! Babe, if life is beating you down.... just rest in the presence of the one who loves you more than anyone else, the one who thinks you are more than precious jewels, the one who finds you worthy of eternal life!!! Just the thought of that makes me excited! He promises to be close to the broken hearted and there is also a verse that talks about the Holy Spirit interceding for us when all we can do is cry. Isn't that an amazing thought?! It puts a smile on my face, even when life is worse than ever before!
I know that alot of people are going through alot of stuff right now....but our God reigns! If that's all you can hold on to tonight.... hold on to it!!! Life can get you down, but in the end the God i serve WILL win!
Psalm 34:18 The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
Romans 8:26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.

Isiah 40:31 but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
Psalm 20:7-8 Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God. They are brought to their knees and fall, but we rise up and stand firm.
Psalm 68:19 Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens.

Definitely feeling the effects of that 'blah' week, as you say :)
Thank you soooo much for this post! It's funny, as I read this, I'm listening to 'Deeper' by Hillsong. It has this line that goes: "Jesus, hold me into Your heart." That's my prayer (not just for me, but everyone else here who's feeling the same way) tonight!
